Breakfast is really nice. The general area the hotel is in is very nice. The Mountain View is spectacular. Receptionist was rude about me booking the room in a name that’s not my passport name. I’ve stayed at over 100 hotels in Europe over the past year alone and never has anyone had an issue with this. He scolded me like a misbehaving child. Overstepping much?

Great little hotel with extremely friendly staff from front desk to restaurant staff. Food is very nice although is similar most nights, but it did the job. Loads of hot water for after ski soak. Rooms too hot so I slept with balcony door open! You should definitely book a ski locker up at top of gondola. It is worth the relatively small expense. This should not in any way put you off staying at the Besoli which I recommend!

We stayed in a family (quad) room at this hotel on a family skiing holiday in February 2023. Our room was basic, but more importantly it was clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water! All the staff in the hotel were very friendly and spoke excellent English. The buffet style breakfast offered a good choice and the three course dinners were delicious. The hotel is in a quiet location off the main road through Arinsal and it is about a ten minute walk to the gondola - it's definitely worth booking a ski locker at the Arinsal Ski Resort though. Sadly, on the pavement and road leading up to the hotel, there was a lot of dog poo. But that's no reflection on the hotel, only its inconsiderate, dog owning neighbours. The skiing in Arinsal was perfect for use as complete beginners, the ski school was made up of a lot of British and English-speaking instructors who were very friendly and excellent teachers. We'd definitely return to Arinsal for the skiing and stay in Xalet Besoli Hotel again.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment for the first week of April. Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast good and plentiful (mainly fruit, cereals, breads etc.). The room had good and bad elements, the lounge part was lovely, sofa for 2, dining chairs for 4 (in a 4 bed apartment). It has a fridge and hob (but the hob was disconnected, apparently no cooking allowed). The main bedroom was dual aspect, however the 2nd bedroom was very small, low roof and no windows (just a tiny skylight). The first nights sleep was terrible, the radiators very noisy, maintenance sorted it out the second day. Dinner changed every day, my wife and I enjoyed it but the kids ate very little (my kids are fussy), example menus attached. We ended up eating out a couple of nights (el bosc on the corner - most recommended), and other nights buying take away and feeding the kids first. It's a 10 minute walk to the ski lift (uphill in the morning, downhill on way back to hotel), I'd recommend hiring a locker up the mountain, rather than carrying skis.

The staff were so lovely and the hotel was very clean. The location is only 10 minutes walk to main chairlift and also quiet. The food was fabulous with a choice of 3 different starters, main course and desert, there was something for everyone even a picky child. Would definitely return again.

Rooms with comfy beds, good heat, clean and facilities in toilet. Bring your own hairdryer. Free parking and ski lockers at parking level. The food is supertasty and the staff in the restaurant is very attentive. Breakfast is fine and good too, variety.

Great little hotel friendly staff. Rooms are standard but clean. Meals are nice but need more veg after a week of potatoes im done. Free safe and ski lockers but is a 10 min walk to the gondola if you're there for skiing hire a locker up the top of the gondola.

To be avoided. Terrible mattresses. Waking up with back pain terrible. Bathroom was not visibly dirty, but when UV lights come on it's shining more than an 80s disco, showing that proper hygiene wasn't performed. Room was stone cold, radiator valves were broken. When I managed to open them, radiators ran for a little while and then the hotel shut down the heating. Staff was loudly arguing with another guest when I came in. I had no beef with anyone there, but they treated us rather rudely. That persisted the next morning.
